Menu Plan September 1

Menu Plan September 1

Every week is a new adventure around here.  New diet restrictions and (hopefully) new additions too– since last week Action Boy was diagnosed with hypoglycemia we had to revamp his meal plan a bit (eating every 2 hours).  Star Girl’s nosebleeds and bad attitude also returned, so we headed back to Stage 1 Feingold. Low salicylate and absolutely no artificials. On a positive note, Action Boy passed his dairy test at the allergist so for the first time in 8 months we are going to test some cheese.  Deep breaths.  Pray he can eat it. The poor kid doesn’t have much left he can eat!  I still have a long way to go at doing a good job planning the snacks– but I am quickly learning that if I can keep him fed he doesn’t have those melt-downs that often happen after naps.  I won’t miss those one little bit.

Saturday:

Breakfast- Gluten Free Pancakes and bacon (he seems to do well with all of the nitrate/nitrite free varieties- this week we have Applegate
